Unfortunately, my superior intellect doesn't seem to be doing the trick either--as I have been defeated on "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?" (in the category of first grade grammar!).

I think the secret may be practice practice practice! Play video games all day every day while they are at school and then maybe, just maybe, you will have a chance to keep up with them once they hit their teens! Perhaps another way to get them to play with you is to find strategy games where winners and losers are not determined by how fast you can hit the A/B buttons. Find games which will allow you to employ your superior intellect skills to keep them on their heels.
