Blogs and Resources

Nancy’s favorites:

CommonSenseMedia – To my mind, this is by far the most even-tempered, valuable resource online for issues about technology and children. In fact, I believe it may be the only one, aside from ParentOverShoulder.com.

Dooce.com - Even the busiest of days has room for a quick check here–for a laugh, a sigh or just a beautiful photo.

HappinessProject – There’s no more noble or elusive goal, but this makes the pursuit of happiness a daily project. Lots of insight and motivation.

DesignMom – With five kids, it’s amazing that Gabrielle can post so much fresh material here daily, all with design in mind.

A great blog on blogging: ProBlogger.

And then there are the productivity blogs, which are so inspiring that they can be a real time-suck: Lifehacker and 43 Folders (sort of folded down these days). Zen Habits dances with productivity, but has a more wholistic slant. Lately, I prefer Leo Babauta’s (of Zen Habits) blog on minimalism, mnmlist.com.

Finally, Seth Godin provides a daily dose of entrepreneurial inspiration.
